I ended up on the phone for about an hour, with them trying to force me into making a one-time payment to fix my PC. I told them I wasn’t willing to pay that much, and they suddenly got quite rude, even messing up my screen somehow. They seemed like scammers to me, and when I questioned them, they just laughed and claimed they were legit experts. Just a warning to others. I’m now taking my computer to a proper service centre to get it sorted and reinstall Windows. Someone should really look into this.
