10 yearsI recently had a rather persistent chap with an Asian accent ring me, asserting that my computer had been severely compromised. He insisted on sending me an email with a download link, identifying himself as Alex Watson, a Computer Technician from a place called Best Help. Naturally, I decided to look up the number and stumbled across a few rather alarming complaints regarding his so-called company. Despite this, he steadfastly defended his legitimacy. When I inquired as to why I couldn't locate any trace of his business online and pressed him for their website, he became increasingly pushy, trying to extract my personal details. I made it abundantly clear that there was no chance I would ever divulge any information to him. At that point, his tone took a turn, as he snapped back, 'listen madam, you can f*** yourself, alright?... you can f*** yourself!' before abruptly ending the call.
