Initially, they seemed quite pleasant, but that quickly changed when I mentioned that I wasn't interested in altering anything about my policies. It was as if their friendly facade crumbled in an instant. Upon informing them that we were not keen on adjusting our life insurance, they asked if we wished to negotiate on the premium we currently pay. We politely declined, and I have to say, the chap on the line responded with a rather dismissive “whatever” before abruptly ending the call. Quite rude, really! It's astonishing how quickly their tone changed.Money Matters10 yearsWhat a brilliant discussion! It settles many of our queries, doesn’t it? The moment we answered the call, they disconnected-which leads us to believe it's that pesky automated dialler that just pings random numbers until it finds a live voice. Once someone picks up, it supposedly transfers to an actual "person" (and I use that term rather loosely!). If all the so-called humans are busy, then the line just goes dead. Classic cold calling ploy if you ask me.
