I recently had a rather frustrating encounter with this company called Money Matters. Initially, they seemed quite pleasant, but that quickly changed when I mentioned that I wasn't interested in altering anything about my policies. It was as if their friendly facade crumbled in an instant. Upon informing them that we were not keen on adjusting our life insurance, they asked if we wished to negotiate on the premium we currently pay. We politely declined, and I have to say, the chap on the line responded with a rather dismissive “whatever” before abruptly ending the call. Quite rude, really! It's astonishing how quickly their tone changed.

What a brilliant discussion! It settles many of our queries, doesn’t it? The moment we answered the call, they disconnected-which leads us to believe it's that pesky automated dialler that just pings random numbers until it finds a live voice. Once someone picks up, it supposedly transfers to an actual "person" (and I use that term rather loosely!). If all the so-called humans are busy, then the line just goes dead. Classic cold calling ploy if you ask me. I’ve never had any dealings with them previously and I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service too!

Oi, I just wanted to mention that our phone rang a whopping sixteen times today from this number. Every time we picked up, the callers just went quiet and didn’t say a word. Cheers for shedding light on this lot - they’re a right nuisance, those blokes!

It's rather peculiar, isn't it? Every time we try to return their call, there's absolutely no response. Who are these individuals, I wonder?

I just received a call from these folks, which was rather inconvenient since I’m currently unwell and laid up in bed. I was actually expecting a call from my dad. When I mentioned I couldn’t chat, the caller insisted they would ring back. We asked for their identity, and after learning who they were, we clearly stated we didn’t wish to be disturbed again - not now or later, given my health situation. The chap on the line was quite rude and even swore before abruptly ending the call. It’s alarming how these people conduct themselves and frankly, they ought to be reported and stopped immediately.

I received a call from a chap who mentioned that we had a conversation with one of his colleagues a few weeks back regarding our financial situation. I informed him that we do not entertain unsolicited calls. He then pushed for whether we were interested in saving some money. My response was a firm NO, as I had no desire to discuss finances with them! To my astonishment, he retorted that we must be the only people in the country who weren't keen on saving cash. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I've been inundated with calls from this number. They never answer when I pick up. Does anyone know who it might be?

What a relief to stumble upon this discussion! We received a call last month that’s left us rather unsettled. The caller seemed far too familiar, addressing us by our first names - incredibly eerie! They were prattling on about life insurance and mortgages. Being an ex-directory number, I must say I’m a tad irked, but it’s comforting to know from your comments that this lot are simply a gaggle of pushy salespeople trying their luck!

Just had another call from them, a rather cheeky one at that. When we asked who they were, the chap said he was from Money Matters. When I reiterated our disinterest and told them to stop calling, the lady on the line claimed they had never called before. So, we fired back with a list of dates and times when I’ve received their calls. She insisted she’d never phoned me, but I pointed out that local authorities are looking into this matter, and she had just given us yet another date and time to report. At that point, he abruptly hung up.

What a right nuisance! We just end up answering and then leaving our phone idle. One thought I had was to set up a voice message like, “If you’re calling about financial queries, this line is strictly for us!” I reckon they’ll grasp the point, or perhaps you could say, “If it’s regarding Money Matters, do drop your number and I shall return your call as soon as we’re free, as we genuinely value your assistance!” Then just return the call and stay silent!

Absolutely ridiculous bunch of debt management idiots. I gave them a piece of my mind and told them to shove off. What a load of jokers!

I just received a call from this number, and when I tried to return the call, there was absolutely no answer. Honestly, I’m quite relieved that they didn't pick up, as I tend to be a bit too accommodating on the phone!

Has anyone got the faintest idea on how to reach these blokes? A dash of legal intimidation might just do the trick, don’t you think?

Has anyone got a clue about whose number this is? I keep getting a constant stream of calls from them. We don’t pick up, but it’s absolutely infuriating, especially since I've just had our little one staying over for the night!

Today I received a call from a company named Money Matters. I clarified that we weren’t seeking assistance with our life insurance as we’re more than satisfied with our current arrangements. The person on the line replied with, “Well, it’s your choice if you don’t want to save some cash!” I reminded him that there was no need for rudeness, to which he retorted, “I’m not being rude.” Then, he abruptly hung up on me! I’m trying to track down this company to lodge a complaint. If I can't find them, I’ll have to reach out to Watchdog.

Are they really nice folks? It appears to us that the staff from Money Matters are the only ones leaving comments here. If they’re genuinely a decent company, why on earth can’t they pick up the phone? Honestly, we’re quite tempted to give those blokes a piece of our mind. A completely inept bunch of bankers, I must say!
