I had an identical experience. An alarming message popped up on my screen, prompting me to ring them. The bloke, who called himself Adam and claimed to be situated in California, swiftly gained full control of my laptop. Eventually, he had the gall to demand $300! At that moment, I drew the line and ended the call. Absolute con artists, I tell you. Steer clear of them and whatever you do, don’t grant them access to your device!

A notification flashed on my screen claiming my device had been compromised. Naturally, I was sceptical, so I looked up the number. Turned out to be a classic Microsoft phishing attempt. It appeared quite convincing, I must say. I made sure to backup my files and gave my computer a restart. Thankfully, everything seems to be functioning properly and my hard drive appears unscathed. What a relief!

I’ve got a feeling this number is part of some dodgy scheme. I rang it and, to my surprise, the same bloke picked up four times in a row. Honestly, what a nuisance!

I was just enjoying some tunes when an alarming notification popped up, claiming my computer had been infected with a virus and urging me to ring a number for a solution. So, I gave it a go. An Indian gentleman picked up and proceeded to guide me through a rather protracted routine involving an error code, some sort of code number, and my IP address. At one point, they seemed to have total access to my device. Then, out of the blue, he requested my bank information. I declined and, just like that, the call ended abruptly.

I panicked and called the number-am I going to get billed for that?

Out of the blue, I received a rather alarming notification on my computer, claiming it had been compromised by a virus or spyware. It ominously suggested that my Facebook profile, bank details, and personal photos were at risk. Naturally, this left me somewhat rattled, so I decided to call the number they provided-though, I did find it odd that they made no request for any banking information. The phone call itself was quite disjointed, leading me to hang up. During our chat, I did mention the reference number that appeared on my screen. Should I be concerned that this might grant them remote access to my machine?

This afternoon, I got a rather alarming notification on my computer, claiming my device had fallen victim to a virus and that my financial details might have been compromised. The message urged me to call a specific number, suggesting it was toll-free. However, I couldn’t shake off the feeling it might actually be a costly international call or just a ruse altogether. Always suspicious of these sorts of things, I figured it was best to keep my wits about me!
