They've rung me like 11 times over two days. Don’t bother ringing back, it’ll eat up a fiver in no time just for a few seconds! Blocked the number straight away.

Somebody kept ringing me asking for my home address, saying there was a delivery supposed to come but needed my details. It all seemed really fishy. They kept calling over and over, so I just blocked the number eventually.

What’s the deal with this number? They rang me tonight claiming to be from Capita PIP but said they had a breakdown team? Feels like they’re just trying to grab personal info or something. Seems like a really pointless thing to me, just a bother more than anything.

So my lad picks up the phone and this bloke asks for me, a woman, then starts rambling about something I didnt get, his English was all over the place. My son asked who he was after, and he goes 'Mr ####'. Then my kid tells him you said you wanted my mum, a female, and the guy goes "Anyone really, it’s about neuroscience calls." My son said, "You mean those annoying calls like this one?" and the bloke just hung up. Guess why, eh?

I received a call from a chap whose English was quite broken, and he spoke with a heavy Asian accent. He claimed to represent a survey organisation based in the UK, but when I probed him about the specifics, he evaded my questions and wouldn’t disclose the name of the company. This definitely reeked of a cold calling scam operation.

It’s been ringing a few times but no one speaks when I pick up. Today, as soon as I answered, it rang again and a person with an Asian accent asked to talk to me. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Sounds like one of those cold calling companies that ring loads of numbers at once and talk to whoever picks up first, leaving the others to try again later. That’s why some calls seem like nobody’s there when you pick up.

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be with Serif UK, the software outfit. They were angling to conduct a survey, but when I mentioned my reluctance to engage in phone surveys or verify any information they claimed to possess about me, they stumbled a bit. They suddenly pivoted to wanting to discuss my household finances-definitely doesn’t sound like the kind of thing Serif would delve into. I often liaise with Serif regarding various issues and this sort of exchange has never cropped up before. I suspect it was a phishing attempt, but they certainly didn’t manage to reel me in!
