The letter had the appearance of professionalism; however, I couldn't shake off the feeling that the Barclays logo seemed off. After a bit of rummaging online, I discovered that this was indeed a scam, and the contact number 08081698876 was flagged as suspicious. It’s impressively crafted, particularly as it referenced an outdated financial agreement I once had, but the demand for such sensitive documents raised all sorts of alarms for me.Barclays2 yearsReceived a couple of letters from Barclays, claiming we’re in line for a refund concerning a loan we took out about eight years back at our old address.
