Got a call from a bloke who said he was from my bank, told me there was a payment over £400 at Argos. He somehow had some of my account info and asked me for my security code so he could 'sort it out' by cancelling my card and sending a new one. I told him to just cancel the payment instead and refused to give the code. Then he just ended the call. Watch out for this one!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be NatWest, saying 400 quid was spent at Argos from my account. Didn’t share any details with him, and luckily, no money had gone missing. I made sure to let my bank know straight away.

Got a call today from someone claiming they were from my bank’s fraud department, telling me someone tried to use my info to buy stuff worth £400 from Argos. I went into the bank afterwards and they said they never made any call like that, so watch out for this scam.

Had a call from a bloke claiming to be from Natwest's fraud department, saying there was some dodgy stuff happening on my card. Afterwards, he sent a text from what looked like the legit Natwest number with a code included. Turns out giving out that code lets them get into your bank account. Watch out, folks!

They've called me a couple times already, I just ignored it. Then they tried again about three more times but with no caller ID. Honestly, feels like they think I'm daft or something. I’ve blocked the number now and hopped on here to find out who it was. This is exactly why I only pick up calls from 07 or 01543 numbers!

Somehow they managed to withdraw cash from my account, but i spotted it almost right away and used a different phone to ring my bank. Fingers crossed they can sort it out and refund me, coz it was a few thousand pounds gone. These scammers are proper awful, so watch out. If a bank calls you, dont use the number they give - call your bank on another device to be safe. They somehow hack into your phone, laptop and banking info - no idea how but they do it. Stay sharp!

Watch out for calls alleging to be from the HSBC Fraud Division! This number has been identified as a scam, so it's wise to steer clear of it. If possible, don’t hesitate to block it right away. There's a handy app available here called Callblocker that can assist you with that. Stay safe!

I got caught out by these numbers, they said they were from RBS and sounded proper convincing. Don’t fall for it, they’re total scammers.
