Someone managed to hack into my bank account and the only thing they did was put £20 on this number. Luckily, my bank caught it and has given me the money back, plus they've blocked loads of other dodgy transactions that added up to thousands. Really sketchy - watch out!

Got a £10 charge from something called EE and the number 08081686076 just now. Was tryin to top up my payg phone. Bank blocked my card and is lookin into it.

Someone seems to have gained unauthorised access to my bank account and used it to recharge their mobile from this number.

I've recently discovered that my bank card information has been compromised, as an astonishing £90 was added to this EE number. A bit of sleuthing on Google revealed that this has been happening since 2016, with numerous others echoing my predicament. I'm left wondering - why hasn’t this number been flagged or properly investigated yet?

I just noticed 3 separate charges of £30 every time through EE TOP UP taken from my bank to this number, how come this is still happening after loads of people have complained about it?

This number showed a £10 EE TOP UP VESTA charge which I definitely didn’t make. After that, there were three other withdrawals from BRAVONEXT SA CH CHIASSO. In total, they’ve taken £670.33 out of my account. I’m gonna ring them back from a payphone and see what’s going on.

I noticed some unexpected deductions from my account! Definitely a scam. I've reported this dodgy activity to my bank right away.

I haven’t actually received a call from this person but they’ve definitely been charging me! Recently, two payments showed up from my bank under “EE TOP UP VESTA IE” along with the number. I don’t use a pay as you go phone, just a monthly contract, and no one else has access to my card. The first charge was £10, the second £20. Also, small amounts like 10p have been taken for “NOWTV[###]/BILLINGHELP SKY GB” but I don’t have a Now TV subscription nor does anyone else use my card for it.

I havent recieved any calls from this number but somehow ive had money taken from my bank with transactions saying "EE". Not sure whats goin on but its defo not right!

Some muppets managed to nick £30 from my account. Luckily I spotted it after a few days and rang up BARCLAYS sharpish. They froze my account and are sending me a new card. Fingers crossed I get my cash back, BARCLAYS sounded pretty sure I would, but I’m baffled how they got my debit card info. Proper nasty scoundrels!

This is a fraud scheme online. They get your info and then use it to add credit on EE. If you see this number on your bank statement, call your bank straight away.

Had a bunch of £10 debits from this number and some dodgy charges to Nowtv I never agreed to. Halifax reckon it’s because I gave my card info to Amazon at some point.

£50 got taken from me. It was from a brand new card that just turned up and was contactless. Shows how safe that really is, huh? The moment I noticed it was contactless, I went straight to the bank and asked for a chip and pin card instead. So yeah, barely a week after starting to use the contactless, I got skimmed.

Me too! £10 got taken from my bank. The statement says EE top up vesta 08081686076 IE, but I’ve never dealt with EE before! I’m with Lloyds and they refunded me and said they’ll be reporting it to the cops!
