Reports on phone number 08081453060
11 yearsI've been inundated with two calls daily from the numbers 0808 145 3060 and 0808 145 3066 since the beginning of the week. Upon hearing chatter on this site about it possibly being a scam or linked to Lloyds, a bank I've never been with, I decided to reach out to them directly. To my surprise, they reassured me that the call was indeed legitimate but most likely intended for the previous owner of my number. It's quite maddening, as I still receive numerous calls meant for them, even after two years of having this phone. Yesterday, I also received a text message from "LloydsBank," which simply asked for payment without any contact number attached-just the name LloydsBank appearing as it is. When I spoke to a representative over the phone, they advised me not to concern myself unless they knew my name. I confirmed that the text didn't mention "Dear Miss X," so they reassured me that there was no need for alarm. If you're in a similar situation, remember that Lloyds can remove your number from their system if you're certain you don't owe anything!LloydsLloydsBank11 yearsIndeed, quite a few individuals, it seems. Since the beginning of the week, I've been inundated with two calls daily from the numbers 0808 145 3060 and 0808 145 3066. I stumbled upon various blogs and sites pointing towards the possibility of them being a scam, although they could also be legitimate calls from Lloyds - a bank I've never actually had an account with. To get to the bottom of it, I reached out to Lloyds directly and, as it turns out, the call was indeed authentic. However, they informed me they were probably attempting to reach the former owner of my number, as I've been bombarded with calls for the previous user despite having this number for a good couple of years. Additionally, I received a text from "LloydsBank" just yesterday, requesting payment. There's no contact number in the message - it simply appears as LloydsBank, with that exact spelling. The chap I spoke with at Lloyds reassured me not to be concerned unless they addressed me directly by name. When I mentioned that the text just started with a vague "Dear Customer," he said there was no need for alarm. If you're feeling uneasy, contacting Lloyds allows them to take your number off their records, provided you're certain you don't owe them anything.LloydsLloydsBank12 yearsDoes anyone happen to know who’s been using this number?Submit Your Own Report (0808 145 3060)
