We've been receiving repeated calls from the number 08009886220, and it’s becoming quite tiresome. Not too long ago, we received an email warning us about a company that has been reaching out to folks in an attempt to gather their banking or credit card details under the guise of verifying their identity. It’s alarming to think that some individuals might actually provide this sensitive information. Apparently, while victims are handing over their details, these con artists are also siphoning funds right out of their accounts. After skimming through various comments online, it became evident that this number is definitely dodgy.

Received a call not long ago, and shortly after, someone got back to me - all about some claims regarding loan repayments. I politely explained that we had no interest in that business, yet they insisted on trying to peddle their nonsense. They went on to ask when would be a good time for them to call again, to which I firmly replied, "Absolutely not." But that didn’t seem to register with them! In the end, I said, “I’m returning to work now, cheers!” and hung up. It felt a bit like those claims outfits, maybe something akin to Claims4U.

They were bleating on about reclaiming loan insurance and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Eventually, they put us on hold to connect us to a manager, but we decided enough was enough and hung up.

We made it crystal clear that we weren’t interested in their drivel and demanded to know how they managed to acquire our number. Strangely enough, they even seemed to know our name! We told them in no uncertain terms to shove off!
