I got a call from someone claiming to be British Gas, but it didn’t feel right. I checked this site http://www.britishgas.co.uk/help-and-advice/contactus-personal-details/did-we-call-you.html to make sure if it was legit or not. Turns out it wasn’t actually them! So be careful before giving out any info if you get a call like that.
