We find it quite troubling, as we are registered with the Telephone Preference Service. This means that we should not be receiving unsolicited marketing texts or phone calls from these individuals.

We've received an identical message, albeit from a different number (+447546758178). When we returned the call to 0800 9708143, we discovered it was a company named CENTRAL FUNDING, claiming to be a loan provider. However, it's baffling how they managed to obtain our number, considering we've never submitted any loan applications. They mentioned that someone might have applied for a loan and accidentally provided our mobile number, but we reckon that’s just a load of nonsense.

Received a message from 07564686233 saying, "Hello, I've pre-processed your recent loan application for up to £15,000. Please call by 7pm on 08009708143 or text 'quit' to opt-out." We're rather sceptical of this. We haven't engaged in any calls or texts with these folks, and to be honest, we'd certainly recall applying for a loan. This sounds more like a poorly executed scam. No legitimate lender would refer to an application as "pre-processed" like that. We're planning to look into where we can report this nonsense; it’s clearly dodgy!

I’ve discovered that this number originates from a company called Tetrus Telecom, based in Manchester. They seem to be in the business of linking your contact details to various credit loan brokers. Once they've got hold of your number-often through firms like Yes Loans-they push them to pursue you relentlessly for your income details, showing little regard for the fact that you might already be registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It's quite frustrating!

Once they’ve got hold of your details-often sourced via firms like Yes Loans-they shamelessly sell your information for a quick profit, completely disregarding your TPS registration.
