He asked if I’d just pay £400 for a new one if it went wrong. When I asked his location, he claimed London, but I’m up here in Lancashire - didn’t add up. Then he said for £24 an engineer would come from London to sort it out. I joked, asking if the engineer would be travelling by car, coach, or train. He insisted someone would come out. I continued with silly questions, even mentioning Dick Turpin and horses, and he kept up. Had a laugh wasting his time until he finally hung up.
