A chap with a noticeable Indian accent rang me up, claiming my BT Sports subscription was about to expire and that I should consider renewing it. When I queried the expiration date, he stated, "13th June." I pointed out that was still three months off, to which he replied, "Just a moment, I'll verify that," but he never returned to the call. I ended up hanging up, feeling quite convinced it was a dodgy scam.
