We received a rather irritating voicemail from some folks claiming to be part of consumer research. It was all automated, and they mentioned they'd be giving us another call. From this point onwards, we're just going to decline their calls. What a nuisance! Ugh!!!

I've had several calls from this number. We’ve asked them to remove us from their records, but they just won’t take the hint and keep ringing. It’s really quite frustrating!

Received a ring on our office line from this number. They’ve tried reaching out previously, but last time they simply hung up. Thankfully, we’ve now got Caller ID on our work phone to keep track!

Tried to sell us a kitchen at first, then the very next day, made a move to dupe our elderly dad into purchasing one as well. Completely disregards the Telephone Preference Service.

We've been receiving calls on our old landline, which we never use and certainly haven’t shared with anyone. It's baffling how these callers got hold of the number, especially when they ask for someone who hasn't set foot in our home for at least the past 18 years since we bought it! We don’t disclose it on surveys or any other forms, so it’s a real mystery.

We experienced the exact same call, and it turns out they are a market research company. We knew this right away since it was linked to our voicemail, and they later let us know that no one was free to chat. It’s obviously an automated system at play here.

I've been inundated with multiple calls each day from this number. Thankfully, I've got a call blocker in place that manages to cut off the calls before they reach me, which means I don't have to deal with any awkward silence or chat with pesky callers. It effectively terminates those silent calls, which is precisely what I believe is happening here. Regrettably, I'm at a bit of a loss as to who these people are or what they might be after, as I've yet to uncover any information online about the company behind these incessant calls.

Received a call earlier today from 08009532125. Have you ever felt the pinch and considered switching your gas and electric suppliers? Well, when I asked if they dealt with bottled gas and batteries since we reside in a caravan on a farm, it certainly left the chap on the other end momentarily speechless! Quite amusing, really. cheers, kev1969

"Whenever you take part in surveys or competitions, whether they come through the post, online, or even from signing up for catalogues, those companies tend to share your details and numbers with others. It's absolute nonsense! If that's the case, then why don’t these firms seem to have access to our information? Long live cold calling, I say!"

For the entirety of February and spilling into March 2011, we've been enduring approximately six silent phone calls daily from this number. It's driving us to distraction, especially as we’re on the nightshift. The one occasion we did manage to get a word in, we emphatically told them to stop calling - and yet, here we are, faced with over 60 calls since! The TPS has proven utterly ineffective, and Ofcom's response has been pathetic. At this point, I’m seriously contemplating taking matters into my own hands (not through legal channels, mind you).

Well, that was a rather interesting experience, wasn't it? We were only considering something and, rather strangely, the phone rang almost immediately after we requested an insurance quote from Castle Insurance. Just as we finished our online enquiry, the call came in. It’s not the first instance of this peculiar timing-it’s astonishing how swiftly they seem to react. We chose not to answer the call, and lo and behold, no message was left. I suspect we haven’t heard the last of them; I’m certain they'll be giving us another ring soon enough!

Tried ringing back the number to return the ring we got, but all we heard was a strange beeping sound. We’d really appreciate it if we could find out who it was, too.

I've recently received calls from a number that I recognised, so I decided to check this site first before picking up. Upon learning about it, I've now made up my mind to ignore such calls altogether. Honestly, when these folks ring again, it's clear what our response will be- the second word will definitely be 'bugger off'. We've got a rather obnoxious neighbour who, for some reason, thought it wise to put our address on forms he submitted to dodge unwanted calls. Obviously, he didn't consider the inconvenience this would cause us, just assumed we'd be fine with it. In retaliation, I've just ordered a hefty load of hardcore to be delivered right into his swimming pool.

I’ve just had another call from these folks pestering me for someone who doesn’t reside at this number. Honestly, I said something along the lines of “sod off” and hung up. Would you believe they had the audacity to ring again?

It’s clear that these individuals aren’t merely fulfilling their duties; if they were, they’d actually make a note that this number shouldn’t be contacted again. Instead, they simply toss it back into their system for another round of calls, just to massage their performance metrics.

We’ve been getting calls on our mobile from this number, but it’s completely unfamiliar. When we tried to dial it back from a landline, we couldn’t get through at all! Anyone have a clue about who it might be?

As soon as you take part in surveys or competitions-whether it’s through the post, online, or even by subscribing to catalogues-those companies tend to share your details with other firms. It's absolutely bonkers! So, if that’s the case, why is it that these other companies claim they don’t have any of our information? It’s a mystery, isn’t it? Cold calling for the win, I suppose!
