Received a call from this number a moment ago, and I haven't the foggiest idea who it could be.

I received two calls from this company insisting that I had previously filled out a lifestyle survey, which is quite baffling since I haven’t! They claimed they needed to "refresh their records," so I told them to make sure they update it by ensuring that they never contact us again. After that, I promptly hung up the phone.

As soon as I picked up the phone, the line went dead, which is a pity because I was about to play them Party Fears Two... I suspect we’ll be hearing from this number a couple more times this week, then they’ll probably switch to another one. The cycle just keeps repeating. Honestly, looking back, granting India independence seems rather regrettable in hindsight...

We've received four calls from this number, but there's nothing but silence on the other end.

We've had this number ring us more times than I can count, and every time we pick up, there's just silence on the other end. It's rather infuriating, especially since our number was on the ex-directory list, and I’ve even registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Honestly, we have no clue who these callers could possibly be!

We’ve received calls from this number time and again. After much deliberation, we chose to answer and inquire about the company name, which we could never quite grasp. Turns out, it was Consumer Lifestyles. We steadfastly declined to respond to any of their questions.

I've had quite enough of these incessant calls! It’s a call centre based abroad, operating under the guise of ‘Consumer Lifestyles’. The moment you pick up, it’s an absolute chore to make sense of what they’re saying; they seem to mumble through everything. It's beyond frustrating!

I received a call from this number, as they were trying to reach one of our daughters who wasn't in at the time. My partner ended up answering the phone, and the caller claimed to represent 'Consumer Lifestyles' or something along those lines. However, after a series of rather peculiar questions, my partner decided to cut the conversation short and decline to engage further.

I answered the phone, but it was silent on the other end. It was nearly 9 in the evening, and I'm on the ex-directory list. With an early start at 5 in the morning, it’s particularly bothersome!

Received a couple of calls over the past fortnight, but both times, I ended up with nothing but silence on the other end. I've now saved the number into our phone directory, so I'll be all set for some proper questioning from the TPF if they decide to ring again!

Most likely one of those "Consumer Lifestyle" chaps - you know the sort, all surveys and endless questions. Personally, I never bother to engage fully... They had the audacity to ask for me by name! When I caught on to that thick Indian accent, I decided to keep them on the line. I put my phone on mute and treated them to a bit of "Party Fears Two" by The Associates from YouTube. But, by the time I returned, they'd vanished into thin air. Honestly, couldn't they hang about for another couple of minutes? Do they think their time is more valuable than mine?

Our mum received a couple of calls earlier today from this number, both times asking for someone by name. The caller, a chap, didn’t catch the name of the company, but during the second conversation, shortly after he remarked that Mrs. ... wasn't in, she asked if he was a relative and whether he could answer a few questions so they could update their records. He still hasn’t got a clue who they are, but I’m determined to find out more when they ring next. We’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so they’d better have a solid reason for their calls!

I received a call from this number claiming to have finished a survey. However, that wasn't the case at all. I've asked them to remove my number from their records.

What a right shambles they are! Honestly, it's like dealing with bothersome flies-utterly lacking in sense. They ought to get themselves proper employment instead of harassing those of us who are actually trying to live our lives.

Received a call from someone seeking a person who had my number from six years back. I'm also on the preference service. What's going on with the Data Protection folks? It seems that Consumer Lifestyles should be ensuring their records are current, don't you think?

I keep getting calls from this number repeatedly, and it’s always the same outfit that doesn’t display properly on my caller ID - Consumer Lifestyles. They claim they’re just after a few bits of information for a survey. We let them know we’re not keen, but they carried on bombarding us with calls every few moments today. It’s been the same story for weeks now!

Blimey, wouldn’t it be brilliant if we could just grab that phone and strangle the nuisance on the other end? I'm absolutely worn out from these relentless silent calls from this company. I've registered with the TPS, but they appear utterly incapable of putting an end to these bothersome rings!

I received a call from the number 08009529975, and from what I gather, it’s linked to Consumer Lifestyles, which operates as a survey organisation. It turns out that survey companies can sidestep the Telephone Preference Service regulations since they aren’t trying to sell you anything directly. Quite an interesting loophole, isn’t it?

I keep receiving calls from this particular number. More often than not, it’s an individual with a distinctly Asian accent, claiming to represent Consumer Lifestyles. He insists he just needs to ask me three more questions to finalise my survey. However, I have no interest in participating in any surveys, yet he seems undeterred. It’s quite bothersome, really - having to interrupt what I'm doing to answer the phone. Like many, I’m also on the Telephone Preference Service list. It truly is high time some action was taken against these persistent callers.

I've just received a call from this particular number, which happens to be linked to our previous list of home contacts. They're searching for someone who has never set foot in our residence, not even in the past 18 years that we've been living here! Quite baffling, to say the least.

We received calls from an outfit known as Consumer Lifestyles. They specialise in consumer surveys and seem to relay the information they gather to various retail businesses. When you pick up the phone, you can expect a wait of around ten to fifteen minutes while they go through their spiel. If you're not interested, simply tell them to jog on and request that they remove your phone number from their database.

It's quite baffling, isn't it? They just won't take the hint that you're not keen on whatever they're peddling. It's a right nuisance, to be honest. One would think the authorities would step in to put an end to these bothersome calls, especially considering how unsettling they can be for our more senior citizens. They shouldn't have to deal with this sort of stress. Frustrated in Cambridge.

These individuals are just like armadillos, aren't they? Their skin is so thick that nothing can penetrate it. They're as unpleasant as they come-real bottom feeders who ought to be dealt with harshly.

When they give me a ring, let’s just say my manners take a backseat. They really get on my nerves.

This is the restrained take; what I truly feel is far too shocking to share.

I’ve stumbled upon a rather effective little trick for dealing with pesky cold callers. As soon as they start their spiel, I simply chime in with, "Hello, South Yorkshire Police". Without fail, they inevitably respond with an apologetic “wrong number” and that’s the last I hear from them! Thought I’d share this nugget of wisdom with you all; it’s worked wonders for me! Give it a whirl, it might just do the trick for you too!

The caller was quite insistent, attempting to corner me into completing a quick survey. I mentioned that I didn't have a moment to spare, but he just wouldn’t back down. I was fuming by that point and ended up telling him to bugger off. His refusal to accept my refusal really wound me up!

I've had numerous calls from these folk, repeatedly inquiring for someone named E followed by a surname. The problem is, my Dad and I share the same initial, so when we asked which E they meant, it just confused them further. My Mum, who's disabled, has been dealing with most of these incessant calls. Finally, I managed to get through to one of them, but honestly, I couldn't make head nor tail of what he was saying. It seems he thought that raising his voice would somehow improve communication!

I receive calls daily, usually at least once, but often two or three times throughout the day, generally between 9 in the morning and 9 at night. As someone with a disability, it takes me a while to reach the phone, so by the time I answer, they’ve already hung up without leaving a message. It’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve signed up for the Telephone Preference Service, yet it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Honestly, if I could just grab the phone fast enough, I’d love to let out an ear-piercing scream or blast a whistle down the line to make my feelings known!

I've been getting calls from this number ever since October 2012. I always refrain from picking up, reasoning that if it were truly urgent or if they needed to chat with someone in my family, they’d surely leave a message. But, surprise, surprise - not a single message has ever been left! One can only wonder what they find so captivating that they feel the need to call constantly. Odd behaviour, if you ask me!

Utterly ridiculous calls from time-wasters who seem to revel in their own dullness. Honestly, you’d think they might find a more constructive way to spend their time. Total numpties!

I received a call from this number earlier today, but they addressed me by my maiden name-odd, considering I've been married for over six years now! Naturally, I inquired how they’d obtained my information. Their response? Apparently, I had filled out some survey form ages ago. It's rather concerning that they’re clinging onto contact info that’s over six years out of date! It gives off a rather unprofessional vibe, doesn’t it?

Indeed, this number rang me as well, requesting that I partake in a survey. I politely declined, expressing my gratitude, and then hung up the phone.

My mother has received a couple of calls from this number today, both times requesting to speak to her specifically. She wasn’t able to catch the name of the business, but during the second call, when she mentioned that Mrs. ........ was out, the caller inquired if she was a relative and asked if she could respond to a few questions to help them with their records. She still has no idea who they are, but I’m determined to get to the bottom of it the next time they ring. We’re on the Telephone Preference Service, so I expect them to have a sufficient reason for calling.
