And please don’t flag genuine bank numbers as scams, as it might block those trying to check in properly.

Got a call from the Capital One Fraud team this morning, from an 020 number, saying there was some dodgy activity on my card. I called them back at the same number, and it actually was the real Capital One. They confirmed the call and had put a block on my card to protect me. Luckily, it’s all been cleared up now.
