As soon as we answered the phone, the line went dead. We're convinced it was one of those "predictive dialer" systems or something similar. Essentially, an automated system calls numerous numbers simultaneously, hoping that when one of them picks up, there’s a human ready to speak. If no one is available, you either get silence or the call just gets disconnected. Quite frustrating, really!

Received multiple calls in the early evening, but when I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end.

I’m utterly baffled as to how Speak Speak managed to get their hands on our landline number! I am NOT affiliated with them in any way and my landline is EX DIRECTORY! Honestly, I wouldn’t consider entering into a contract with them even if you paid me! The pressing question now is: what on earth can we do to make them cease and desist?

This number keeps calling us incessantly. It appears to be linked to a company that contacted us regarding Carphone Warehouse. They provided the number 0800 9524877 for us to reach out, should we desire to have our number removed from their records. It's quite bothersome, to say the least!

Earlier today, we received multiple calls from 08009524857, which we chose to ignore. This must be linked to TalkTalk, as we foolishly checked if our phone was eligible for broadband. Now, it appears these blighters have resorted to bombarding us with unwanted calls. Rest assured, we’re no longer contemplating them as our broadband provider. Absolutely ridiculous!

The number is linked to LBM Direct Marketing. It appears to have been utilised for calls on behalf of TalkTalk, as per The Carphone Warehouse's information.

This number has been giving us a ring for the last month during the early part of the afternoon.

Blimey! These callers just won't quit, and she’s just leaving us hanging. It’s driving me round the bend every time we pick up!

After a bit of a deliberate silence spanning nearly two days, we finally got in touch with these folks regarding the ring. The gentleman on the line insisted that we had consented to receive calls the moment we checked our broadband options on the Speak Speak website. We promptly asked him to remove us from their list and to refrain from calling back. It's curious, though, as we've not seen any information on the TT website about agreeing to receive such calls.

I’ve yet to peruse the websites of Speak Speak and Talk Talk, nor do I possess anything from The Carphone Warehouse. I don’t have broadband through any provider, and the mobile number that keeps receiving calls in the afternoons belongs to my workplace, so I have no intention of signing up for any broadband or mobile services with them. To top it all off, we’re registered with the telephone preference service to prevent these calls! It seems Vodafone is flouting privacy requests left, right, and centre. It’s utterly infuriating!

Just received a call from this number right as we were dashing out the door. They asked to have a word, and I had to say, "Apologies, I'm just about to head out." The response was quite the shocker: "What do you expect? A bleeding crackerjack pen?" They didn’t bother to identify themselves whatsoever. Rest assured, the next time they ring, we'll be ever so polite!

It baffles me why these individuals feel the need to bombard us with calls, especially considering we’ve been with "Talk Talk" for ages on our home phone. On top of that, we’ve also got a mobile contract through "Carphone Warehouse" with "O2", which, let’s not forget, is part of the Carphone family. The bills arriving from "O2" only fuel my skepticism, as it seems rather peculiar that we don’t receive any correspondence from other providers! It certainly makes one question just how "UNBIASED" their recommendations truly are when signing up for a plan! Funny how their so-called "COMPLETELY NEUTRAL" guidance always nudges folks in the direction of "O2". One can’t help but wonder about the true intentions behind that, can they?

These callers seem determined to ring us several times a day. We’ve made a point of ignoring them, yet they continue to bombard us. It’s quite vexing and frankly, they need to stop. We absolutely do not wish to engage with them at all. It baffles me how they even acquired our number in the first place. Rest assured, we won't be answering, and we certainly don't have any interest in whatever they're trying to sell.

I keep getting an incessant stream of calls with no voicemail left behind. Honestly, I'm tempted to just pick up and respond with a simple "yes" to every single question they throw at me. It's all becoming rather ridiculous!

For the past fortnight, they've been ringing us every single day, and I haven't a foggiest idea what it's all about! What's more, whenever we attempt to respond, the line goes dead on us!

We're inundated with calls, either from Speak Speak or AOL. I'm currently with BT, but we suspect that the previous owner of our number was linked to Speak Talk. That individual passed away nearly three years ago, and her account was closed back then. We've pointed this out to the callers multiple times, but it seems like they simply don’t take it in-it's always the same rehearsed spiel! Honestly, one of the main reasons we'd never consider using Speak Speak or AOL is precisely due to their dreadful sales and marketing approach!

We received a call at work from this number, and as soon as we answered and asked who was calling, the response was an abrupt "sorry, wrong number." Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I received yet another call from Speak Speak at the unholy hour of 12:42 AM!

What a cheeky individual! She inquired about our experience on that speak-speak platform and offered her help, but we clearly had no wish to engage in conversation. When we asked if this bunch (LBM) were adhering to the Telephone Preference Service guidelines, she boldly claimed it wasn’t a sales pitch, so there was no obligation for compliance. We pressed her for specifics on what she was after, but it seemed she was more intent on her own agenda.

It seems this number is perpetually ringing away! Without a doubt, it's a bothersome call. Whenever you spot this number pop up, it's either linked to TalkTalk or a marketing agency working on their behalf, or so we reckon. Regardless, we've made it a point never to respond.

We followed the guidance provided initially to remove our number from their database, specifically 0800 952 4877. The automated message mentioned it might take about 3 to 5 days to process. We'll be waiting to see what happens. I just wanted to express our thoughts to anyone who might be listening that we've decided against considering Speak Speak as a potential Internet Service Provider due to this rather shady practice.

For the last three days, this number has called us at the exact same hour each month, which is getting on my nerves a bit! Don’t these callers have any sense to vary their timing? It's particularly frustrating because we’ve got that caller preference service activated to filter out nuisance calls, yet somehow, this lot still manages to slip through the net. Quite maddening, really!

Typical scenario here - constant calls without a single reply on my work direct dial. It's becoming quite bothersome, receiving these incessant disturbances throughout the day.

We had no idea who was on the other end of the line; they simply hung up on us without revealing their identity. Quite baffling, really!

We've been getting calls from this number for several days now, and we’re not picking up. It’s quite vexing, as they don't leave any voicemails either. So bothersome! We registered with Speak Speak about a week ago, and judging by what others have said, it seems it’s them behind these calls. Blithering nincompoops!

I received a call from this number at 6 o'clock this evening. The caller claimed to represent AOL, supposedly referencing some sort of sale they had contacted us about. To be honest, I'm baffled by their claims! It feels more like a marketing agency trying to push their services rather than anything legitimate.

Had a call earlier today, so I figured I’d have a gander at this site. Here we go again! These chaps seem to ring us every few days, trying to rope us into their broadband service. It sounded fairly decent, to be honest, but we made it quite clear that we never agree to anything over the phone; we asked them if they could pop the details in the post. The response? A firm no, it’s strictly a phone deal. Honestly, we’ve had just about enough of their antics and will be looking elsewhere for a phone package since they just don't seem to get it! (And I can barely decipher the accent half the time, to top it off!)

It seems to be quite a confusing situation with Speak Talk. If you happen to share your number on their platform to inquire about their offerings, don’t be surprised if the firm reaches out to you directly. When you opt to call that freephone number they provide, they will then direct you to yet another freephone number, which you must dial if you wish to have your information removed from their records. Quite the labyrinth, isn't it?

It's rather perplexing why they persist in reaching out to me despite the fact that I'm firmly with "Talk Talk" on my landline, and I've been tied into a contract with "Carphone Warehouse" for a considerable duration with my "O2" mobile. Isn't it curious that I only receive bills from "O2" through "Carphone Warehouse," with no correspondence from anyone else? It certainly raises eyebrows regarding how genuinely "UNBIASED" their guidance is when signing up for a contract! It's amusing to note how their supposedly "COMPLETELY UNBIASED" recommendations often seem to lead folks directly to "O2." It’s worth a thought or two, isn't it, mate?
