Much like someone else noted, I hold a mobile contract with EE, and my landline service is tied to the Post Office—was with BT, but after experiencing their abysmal customer service, I swiped left on them. I'm rather miffed that BT seems to have rifled through my EE contract details in a bid to peddle me something I quite plainly rejected ages ago. Clearly, my recollection of our previous discussions far surpasses theirs. Maybe I ought to ring them back and have a word, eh?

They’re trying to hound individuals into switching providers, clearly in a bid to fatten their own wallets, while poaching customers who are likely satisfied with their current services. I’m with EE, but my landline and internet are through the Post Office, so it’s evident that BT muppets have targeted me using my EE contact details. 1. Blocking this number is definitely on the agenda. 2. But not before I give them a right earful using my trusty Acme referee whistle. I always keep it handy by the phone for moments like this! Trust me, after a good blast, they won’t bother calling back again.
