I found a leaflet for Thane h2o inside the box I got. If this is some kind of scam, then Thane really shouldn’t be including stuff like that with their products. Honestly, they should be called out for it. It’s put me off buying from them ever again!

Got a leaflet shoved in my mailbox from Thane. No name or company details, just saying I need to ring them up and cough up a tiny postage charge to claim some "free" hotel stay for 7, 14 or 21 days. They want a reference number too. Seriously? Sounds like a load of rubbish to me. Who’s giving away free stays nowadays? Didn’t bother calling on my phone, but might try from a public phone just to see what they say, purely for a laugh! If anything interesting happens, I’ll keep you posted.

They tried getting me to agree to some so-called 'free' perks, saying it would be £29.99 a month for discounts on shopping...ummm yeah, no thanks!

I found this number on a leaflet that came with my H2O steam mop. It’s got Amazon’s logo on it and says you can get a free present from them. The flyer mentions Acai marketing as the company running the promo. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else sees it. So far, no annoying calls or anything like that. If I decide to call and manage to get my freebie, I’ll come back and update with more details.
