Got a call from 0800916647 saying they were from DWP. But the real DWP number has a ‘0’ right in the middle of the 66’s. This one looked close enough to fool a quick glance tho. They said I was due a refund and asked for my ID and bank info to sort it out. Absolute rubbish if you ask me!

Someone from work and pensions called claiming I was owed a refund and asked for my bank info. I didn’t give it, and then the bloke just ended the call.
