Got a call from an 0800 number claiming to be the Department of Work and Pensions. They said my National Insurance number was going to be frozen because of some dodgy activity and told me to press 1 to get in touch. I tried ringing the number from a different phone and nothing answered. Really worrying since if I’d hit 1 on my mobile it might’ve connected me to scammers. Just a heads up - this is definitely a scam!
