3 yearsGot a ring from this number on my work phone. At first one guy spoke, then someone else took over but never said who he was. They claimed to be from Vodafone or something. Problem is, I'm not even a customer with them on this line. When I started asking what they wanted, they got pretty rude and even dropped the F bomb twice! They said “we know everything about you, even your address” - which I found really unsettling. I just cut the call right there. Honestly, best to just ignore if you get a call from this number.Vodafone3 yearsWhat a load of rubbish! They just wanted me to upgrade my phone, total scam. When I called him out, he told me to piss off. Proper dodgy, definitely a scammer. Ha!3 yearsI attempted to return the call, but apparently, the person wasn’t reachable.3 yearsMy 12 year old daughter got a call on her phone telling her she was eligible for an upgrade. That can't be right since she only got that phone a few months back. I told them to stop calling and blocked the number afterwards.3 yearsDidn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number.3 yearsIf this number pops up, just end the call - they’re pushy salespeople and really don't take no for an answer.3 yearsI saw I missed a call from this number but didn’t even hear my phone go off. When I looked it up, it said it was a scam.3 yearstotal rip off, wouldnt trust this number at all!3 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, trying to sell me an “Apple 15 upgrade deal”. Thing is, I don’t even use Vodafone! Seriously, don’t pick up if your number pops up as them.VodafoneApple3 yearsThey claimed to be from Vodafone, so I asked them about my current plan, and then they just cut the call on me.Vodafone3 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were Vodafone, offering me an upgrade to the iPhone or something. Thing is, I’m not even eligible for an upgrade for another couple of years, so it was pretty clear it was a scam!Vodafone3 yearsI picked up the phone when they called, but I ended the conversation abruptly. Shortly after, they phoned again, berating me for being so rude as to hang up before they did. Quite ironic, really, but this doesn't seem to be a legitimate telecom company at all.3 yearsThey called me but hung up on the second ring both times.3 yearsWithout a doubt, this is a complete scam. They pretended to represent EE, but eventually I discovered they were actually with T-Mobile, and their response was something along the lines of, "Yes, EE T-Mobile," chuckling all the while. The second time they called, supposedly to "finalise" the deal, it came from a legitimate EE number, which they seem to have faked somehow. I was still on the line with them when I provided a bunch of bogus details, and astonishingly, while they were on the phone, they attempted to contact EE using the name I had fed them-thankfully, they were unsuccessful! They even tried to access my online account while we spoke. Naturally, I reported this to EE, and they already had notes about the dodgy call from only ten minutes prior. **Absolutely do not provide them with any genuine information whatsoever!** They dangle a new iPhone 14 in front of you, but instead, they'll be trying to order an iPhone 13 through your account. When you attempt to return it, they'll direct you to send it to some random address that isn't affiliated with EE. They may also try to fish for your security code! The agent's name was Kabeer, and he asked for the following details: - Your full name - Email address - Home address - Duration at that address - Employment situation - Date of birth - Bank details - How long you've been with your current bank - Sort code - Account number - The 16-digit number on your card - Expiry date - CVC code - EE security password Stay vigilant, folks!EET - MobileEE T - MobileKabeer3 yearsI cannot emphasise enough the sheer peril associated with this number. It’s a total scam, I tell you! A bunch of thieving fraudsters, without a doubt. Definitely not affiliated with Vodafone, EE, or any mobile service provider for that matter. Not even GiffGaff or similar! It’s all a ruse - stay clear, folks!VodafoneEEGiffGaff3 yearsJust like others have noted, these scammers are attempting to deceive you into disclosing personal details that could compromise your EE account. I made it clear that I've actually switched providers and no longer have an account with EE.EE3 yearsReceived a call that was supposedly from EE, attempting to lure me into a contract for a shiny new iPhone. I informed him that I'm not an iPhone user, to which he replied, "What about a Samsung then?" Quite taken aback, I asked for my EE account number to verify his legitimacy, and just like that, he abruptly ended the call. Odd behaviour, to say the least!EESamsung3 yearsReceived a call from someone purporting to be from EE Limited, but they hung up abruptly. Quite odd!EE Limited3 yearsGot a call purportedly from Vodafone the other day. Oddly enough, they didn’t bother with any security checks, just launched straight into a sales pitch for an iPhone 14 at £40 a month. When I asked them to send over the specifics via email, they claimed they couldn't do that unless I agreed to the new contract first. Naturally, I said I wouldn't commit to anything without reviewing the contract details, and then, just like that, they hung up on me. Quite fishy if you ask me!Vodafone3 yearsAsserts that they represent EE Ltd.EE LtdSubmit Your Own Report (0800 887 0106)
