Got a call from someone saying they were from Anglian Water, telling me I owed money on my bill. I told them I’m not the account holder, my husband deals with all that. When I asked where they got my number from since I’m registered with TPS, they just ended the call straight away.

I reckon it's Anglian Water that's on the line. Initially, I suspected it might be a scam, but it turns out it’s merely an automated call. If you ring them back, you'll find it's just a case of your payment date not syncing up with when the bill is actually issued - which gives the impression that you're falling behind. They'll get it all sorted for you!

Got a robo call claiming to be Anglian Water. They asked if my surname was ###, which it was. Then they wanted me to punch in my postcode numbers. After that, they told me I owed about £70, which isn’t right since I just got my bill last month. They asked for a payment, so I just ended the call.
