They left a voicemail that sounded empty, but when I called back, it was obviously a call centre. Honestly, a bit daft of me to follow up. Got a call from someone saying they were Sky Direct and wanted to offer me some TV deals. I said I don’t even own a telly, but they just kept going anyway. Got a call from an unknown number, but since I didn't recognise it, I just ignored it. Now I've added it to my block list.

I never pick up numbers I don’t recognise. If there’s no message left, I just go ahead and block them. From what I’ve seen in the comments, this is likely another con targeting people. Straight to block for me.

I got a call about signing up for Sky broadband. I politely told the guy that I’m happy with who I’ve got now, but he was really rude and kept saying that being happy and paying the bill are two completely different matters. I tried to say no again nicely, but he just wouldn’t stop going on, so in the end I just had to hang up.

Got a call from a woman who was really rude, telling me to answer or she'd hang up. I just knew it was one of those scam calls because my phone has Truecaller and it shows who’s ringing.

I’ve been getting tons of dodgy calls ever since my Facebook got hacked, but this number rang and didn’t even leave a voicemail. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky, but it was a total lie - I’ve got a Sky hub just a few minutes from me! They asked for my bank info which sounded dodgy right away. Turns out, it’s a scam. You really shouldn’t give them anything, just tell ’em only you and your bank should have those details, no one else!

Got a call meant for someone else. Could hear loads of people talking in the background and they kept messing up the name. Definitely felt like a scam, so I just blocked the number and deleted it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Sky Broadband, gave the name "Elaine" but the thick Indian accent made me suspicious straight away. After a bit of back and forth, I told her flat out what she wanted from me, and she said she didn’t want anything. I replied, “Well then, why bother calling me at all?” That seemed to shut her down because she hung up pretty sharpish. Usually, I’m not this polite with these scam callers, but I guess I was in a decent mood today!

Got a call on my phone from a bloke who said "Hello Mr..." but never seemed to catch that I was a woman! He spoke English with a London accent and claimed to be from Sky, pushing some "fantastic" Black Friday offers. There was a lot of noise in the background, loads of different voices all chatting away. I don’t even have Sky, so yeah, pretty obvious it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky. I told them I never requested a call and had no interest in their services. Then the bloke asked me if I thought it was a scam. I just ended the call there and then. Definitely not Sky, so don’t be fooled. I've blocked the number now.

Rang up askin’ for "Andrew", said they’d got the wrong number, then they said sorry and just ended the call. After seeing what others said here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Some bloke called saying they were from sky tv but sounded dodgy, like a scam or summat. Didn’t buy it at all, so just hung up quick. Felt like one of those spam calls you get all the time.

Got a call on my mobile about some great offer from Sky, sounded a bit dodgy straight away. I mentioned I’d have a look for it on Sky’s official site and the guy says it’s only a phone deal. When I was like “are you serious?” he went on about being honest or something. I just shot back with “honest? Yeah right,” and then ended the call.

This morning at 12:42, I got a call from 0800 862 0903 and of course it was one of those dodgy calls. I didn't pick up and just let it ring off. Thought I’d look the number up afterwards, which I’m doing now while typing this. No surprises, it was exactly what I suspected. That’s one number that’s getting blocked for good!
