2 yearsJust like other folks have said, this woman said she was from Vodafone. I’m pretty sure Vodafone don’t ring up about upgrades or big discounts like that. So I messsed around with her for about 15 minutes, had a bit of a laugh while hoping my poorly mouse recovers soon, he lost a foot recently. She had a weird accent but spoke perfect English, so if you get a call like this, just ring Vodafone yourself and ask them to call you back. Hopefully this helps others - we need to watch out for these scams and look out for each other.Vodafone2 yearsGot a call a day ago from someone claiming to be Vodafone offering a discount. They said if I agreed, they’d pass me onto their manager who’d get in touch. I ended the call but she immediately phoned me back, speaking with a thick Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone directly and made a complaint. Today, she called me again from a different number. When I said I wasn’t interested, she wanted to know why. I told her straight up it’s a scam. Then she just hung up.Vodafone2 yearsGot a call from someone with a heavy Mumbai accent who just dived straight into offering a huge discount on my phone plan.
