Apparently, this number is linked to a call centre known for bothering people and running scams.3 yearsThis has to be a total scam. They keep ringing me saying I need to sign up for some debt plan within 4 days if I want to be a “debt free woman.” At first they said they were a legit company, even claimed they were recommended by the Citizens Advice Bureau. But when I asked for their details, the call was passed around like 4 times and I couldn’t find any business linked to that number. The person on the phone said they don’t even open on Fridays but promised to ring me back on Friday “just for me.” Doesn’t sound professional at all. Also, saying if I ring back on the same number I’ll get through to the same adviser? That’s not how a proper firm or Citizens Advice works.
