Things took a rather unpleasant turn when we declined to share our name and email address. After about ten minutes of back and forth, when we mentioned that we needed to hang up, he abruptly told us to "F**k off!" Quite a charming exchange, I must say!

I received a couple of calls earlier this evening, one at roughly a quarter to eight and the other an hour later. I couldn't help but notice that most of the other comments were posted earlier in the day. I'm quite intrigued to know if anyone has managed to figure out what's going on here. Received a call from the number 0014408008498690 at 5:14 PM on Wednesday, 16th July 2008. The caller had a rather peculiar accent, possibly foreign. We couldn’t quite make out what these individuals were trying to communicate in our voicemail. All we heard was a repetitive "Hello, hi, hi." Strange, really!

We've had a fair few calls from this number lately, and honestly, it’s getting rather irritating. They don’t leave a message, and when we do pick up, there’s nobody there-just silence until it disconnects. It’s obvious it’s some sort of automated service. I decided to give the number a ring back, and a recorded message informed me it’s associated with the House Advisory Service, but interestingly enough, they weren’t available at that hour (I called back on a Saturday just after they contacted us!).

It’s been a rather irritating week, this number has been persistently calling us from nine in the morning until nine in the evening, and not a peep is uttered when we answer. Earlier today, we decided to reach out to our internet provider, remaining on the line while they looked into this. They identified the number as belonging to the “Home Advisory Service, Switch & Visit.” The police have even recommended we change our number since they couldn’t fathom how they obtained our details in the first place! It’s all quite perplexing, to be honest.

I’ve had a right nuisance with these callers lately; they’ve tried to get in touch with us multiple times. Whenever we pick up, we’re met with silence, and then the line just cuts off. It’s obvious it’s some sort of automated service. Last night, we received a call from a call centre but, regrettably, didn’t get the name of the company. We courteously refused their services. Within the next hour, however, we were bombarded with three calls from 0014408008498690, each call disconnecting as soon as we answered.
