Got a call today from 06499424054 (which seems fake since that code isn’t legit) and they left a voicemail. A lady named Julia from something called Winners Lotto rang, but I couldn’t find any real company by that name. She said I had some good news and to ring back a toll-free number at +448008121048 - total rubbish cos calling that is actually expensive, prob an international charge. Definitely block that number.

This looks like a lottery scam from somewhere in Asia. I’ve had calls from them a few times recently even tho I blocked the number on my bt account. I’d recommend everyone else do the same, don’t fall for it.

They’ve been calling me daily for the last couple of weeks, leaving loads of voicemails too!!! It’s tough not to get tempted, what with the thought of all that cash waiting for me, if only I could bring myself to pick up the phone. Honestly, I’m being pretty stubborn about it. This number 08008121048 rang me again today, 28th May 2018, which is a bank holiday here in the UK, at 9:11 in the morning. No message was left on my voicemail. They had also tried to call me before on 25th May 2018, like I mentioned earlier.

She asked me to ring back on 448008121048 but I couldn't really make out what the message was about. I’m not planning to call back and have already deleted the voicemail.

Got a voicemail full of background noise, couldn’t really make much of it. First ring came through at 2.46pm, sounded like it was from an 0800 number, but the message was mostly unclear except for a “have a nice day” at the end. Then they called back again around 2.55pm but didn’t leave anything that time. Appreciate the heads-up about the Irish Lottery though. I’ll see if they reach out again and then figure out if I’m interested or not :)

Received a barrage of six calls in the past couple of days. Three messages were left today urging me to return their call on some toll-free number, always starting with '44 something or other'. They left a voicemail, sounded alright at first but got all confusing when trying to name their company. Best to ignore and don’t share any info with them! Got a call from someone with an accent, but I reckon it might have been American - I’m terrible at working out accents. He kept saying he was after someone named Wilson, I had to ask a few times ‘cos I couldn’t catch it properly. Told him sorry, no one here by that name, and he said sorry, must’ve rung the wrong number. I agreed and he hung up. But seeing the other comments about this number, maybe I just got lucky?

Received a text from this number, and it was distinctly in an American tone. I decided to ring them back and was put on hold, listening to some catchy tunes with a reassuring voice promising that an agent would be with me shortly.
