Received a call indicating that these individuals won’t be reachable until the 28th of September 2010. A female voice from Swisscom then repeated the number twice. I tried calling the number back but I’m at a loss; I don’t know who the chap is that’s orchestrating this!

Zurich-Kloten, on Sunday, the 15th of August 2008 at 09:35. I received a call from 0800807111. What a load of nonsense from Swisscom Fixnet! It was a completely ridiculous message read out by a female computer voice.

Das ist doch völliger Unsinn! Meine Telefonnummer ist nirgends in einem Telefonverzeichnis zu finden, geschweige denn im Internet. Ich habe noch nie eine E-Mail darüber erhalten oder ähnliches. Dennoch plagt mich dieser Dienst nun schon seit Tagen. Sollen die Leute doch in Ruhe gelassen werden, wenn sie nicht in solchen Verzeichnissen stehen. Ich finde es echt beschissen von Swisscom. Zum Glück gibt’s diese Seite, wo man den Mist abstellen kann!

So, um viertel vor acht hatten wir die ganze Zeit solche Anrufe, und das ging bis neun! Ich habe die Nummer dann online recherchiert und festgestellt, dass sie wohl zu Swisscom gehört. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die das können, dir deine empfangenen Nachrichten vorzulesen. Ich überlege ernsthaft, diesen Service zu kündigen, denn er ist wirklich lästig, besonders mit kleinen Kindern, die versuchen zu schlafen. Lasst euch davon nicht verrückt machen! :-)

Honestly, everyone, do you lot not realise that this is simply a service provided by Swisscom? It’s rather straightforward - if a friend or acquaintance shoots you a text, they call this number and it relays the message to you. Quite harmless, really! If you’re not keen on it, you can just ring back the number and deactivate it. How troublesome can it actually be? It’s a bit amusing, to be fair!

Received a fair few calls throughout the entirety of the 2nd of January while in Morges. I'm truly grateful for the post by Tim from the 1st of November, which helped us to switch off that bothersome and unexpected service. Wishing you all a fantastic 2009!

Blimey, diese Person hat es offenbar faustdick hinter den Ohren und schickt mir ständig unschöne Nachrichten, die mich auf seltsame Weise wirklich erschrecken. Es ist kaum zu fassen, wie dreist manche Leute sein können!

Ich möchte mal meine Gedanken zu "p2t" teilen. Wenn man eine Nachricht auf sein Festnetztelefon bekommt, wird sie vorgelesen, falls das Gerät nicht in der Lage ist, Text zu zeigen. Das kann durchaus lästig sein, besonders weil der Dienst schon um 7 Uhr morgens anspringt und erst um 22 Uhr wieder abschaltet. Wer das Ganze abstellen oder die Zeiten anpassen möchte, sollte die Swisscom unter der Nummer 0800 800 800 kontaktieren. Viele Grüße!
