I accidentally paid one of the bills before figuring out it was a scam, then just stopped answering the rest. Seems like they’ve backed off now, but I can’t help feeling daft for getting fooled in the first place.

They keeps callin my phone, I don’t pick up so they just hang up without sayin anythin. I’ve blocked the number now.

There was a pause of around 10 seconds, then a posh sounding woman said “goodbye” in a really calm voice, and after that you could hear the line just left open. Pretty obvious it was trying to irritate or maybe trick someone.

So this bloke rings me up claiming he's from BT, saying there's a problem with my internet, phone or something. I told him straight up, "Scammer, goodbye!" because my connection's fine. I rang BT afterwards and they told me that number ain't theirs. Total scam, what a waste of time!
