9 yearsI recently received a rather dubious letter from a firm called Saving Energy Group Ltd, urging me to ring them on the 0800 772 3663 to schedule a visit from a surveyor regarding energy savings I supposedly contributed towards via my energy bill taxes. The whole thing seemed somewhat suspect, so I decided to look into the company myself. Turns out, they appear to possess only a meagre amount of assets and are effectively insolvent. The director, one Jonathan Gooch, has had a couple of previous ventures in LED lighting and solar panels, both of which have been shut down.
