Whenever I get calls from unfamiliar numbers, I pick up but stay quiet, just listening in. Most times, like now, they hang up after a few moments of silence. Sometimes it’s one of those robotic messages, and in those cases, I just end the call straight away. Afterwards, I block the number, though I reckon a lot of these calls come from faked numbers anyway. Phone companies really should be doing more to crack down on spoofing and squash this kind of annoying misuse.

So this guy calling himself an 'advisor' rang Ali, and started asking about a car crash from the past couple of years. When I asked him exactly when the incident was, instead of answering, he just kept pressing me for the date of the claim he was supposedly calling about. Then he tried to get me to confirm accident details like he already had the info! Honestly, watch out for this, seems dodgy to me!

I invited him to explain everything then, but he just cut me off. Honestly, don’t even bother answering these calls, just block them if they start ringing you nonstop.
