That number’s definitely from Sky, I called them myself. It’s not a scam, so don’t believe those people saying it is. I reckon they probably never even bothered to check. If you’re unsure, just call a different Sky support number, you’ll get the same answer.

It's blatantly clear this is a dodgy scheme. If you happen to receive a call promoting some sort of freebie, do yourself a favour and compare it with other offers - chances are, you won’t locate any trace of it!

I received a rather alarming call from someone posing as a representative of the National Crime Agency's Fraud Department. They insisted that my national insurance number had been breached and exploited in fraudulent activity. I was urged to press 1 straightaway, but instead, I opted to block their number.
