Apparently this number is linked to Santander, but I’m not convinced. Someone here said something that sounds like a scammer to me. I received a letter saying I owed money on a Santander account I’ve never had. Then a bloke called Stuart Smith rang, saying he was the Head of Historical Complaints. The letterhead on the letter looked totally fake, like it was just a photocopy or a scan. Watch out for this - it smells fishy!

I've had a look at this today, and it turns out it's the PBR team from Santander. Seems to be connected to loans from Alliance and Leicester.

I actually rang this number twice about some old issues with Santander, and both times the people on the other end were really polite and handled things quite well. They didn’t call me; I was the one who dialled them. Ended up sorting everything out nicely. Thought I’d share in case it’s useful to anyone.
