Earlier today, just before five o'clock, I received a rather alarming phone call claiming that I owed £5,000. When I firmly stated that I wasn't in any debt, the caller insisted otherwise, so I probed him for details about who I supposedly owed. To my surprise, he abruptly ended the call. The chap spoke with a pronounced accent and his English seemed quite broken; he sounded like he might be of Asian descent.
