We've been getting calls from this number lately, and it's quite frustrating because as soon as we pick up, they hang up. It's unbelievably annoying! When you try calling back, it turns out to be BG, telling you it’s a non-urgent issue and that they’ll reach out again in a couple of weeks. However, they also give you an 0800 number to call if you’d prefer not to be contacted. What’s the point? Why should we have to pay just to stop something we didn't even ask for in the first place? It’s utterly ridiculous! Honestly, it’s just another reason to be glad we've moved on from BG.

They seemed to have stumbled across the fact that we used to be customers of BG, which could simply be a lucky guess, considering how many individuals have been with British Gas in the past.
