Got taken for a ride by this number, watch out!

I rang this number thinking it was O2 customer support. Then the voice sounded really familiar - it was the same bloke from a scam I’d heard about before (I thought the Fraud Squad would’ve nabbed him since he’s been reported using a different number). He started asking me to download some software on my PC called Zoho Join. That’s when I twigged what was going on and ended the call straight away. Don’t understand why this fraudster is still about - you can even hear other voices chatting in the background like it’s a call centre. How has no one shut this down yet?

I accidentally rang this number last week thinking it was my computer support. To my shock, they got into my desktop and ended up stealing from several of my accounts. Luckily, after a bunch of bank probes, I’ve been able to get most of my money back. It’s clear they’re pretending to be from a legit software firm. I’ve definitely learnt my lesson and would tell anyone who gets a call from here to be super cautious.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2 tech support, trying to trick me into installing some dodgy software. They wanted me to pay up using my saved card info on Chrome - definitely a scam to steal my details.

Got a call pretending to be from O2, tried to sneak over £8000 out of my bank, but luckily they didn’t manage to take anything. Definitely a scam!

I was on the main page of Windows 365 and clicked on the help section for Outlook. The help window, which I only recently realised was AI driven, showed me a phone number for Outlook support. Thinking it was an official Microsoft helpdesk, I let them access my computer remotely. What a silly error on my part! I've since learnt that the AI help just searches online for numbers linked to Microsoft assistance, and unfortunately some of those are fake lines run by scammers.

Got a call from this number, and it was some dodgy person trying to pass off as O2. Definitely a scam. Avoid answering!

Avoid answering or calling back this number at all costs. It’s a scam pretending to be O2 customer support. A guy called ‘Stephen’ will try to get your email and what type of computer you’ve got. After that, he'll send you an email titled Zoho Assist - Remote Support session, claiming he’s started a remote session to help. The email tells you to click on a link and follow steps. Don’t click anything, don’t reply, just hang up and make sure to report this scam straight away to the UK’s Report Fraud service.

I was directed to this number for HP Ink support from a website. After wasting about an hour trying, I finally found a contact - supposedly printed in the Evening Standard. Feels like a scam to me. Really not amusing.

Somebody called claiming to be from Facebook support, said I gave them my email but I never did. Really dodgy if you ask me.

This number claimed to be from technical support but it felt off. When I asked them what company they were with, they stuttered a bit before saying something which wasn’t the one I was calling. They said something about Paypal but it didn’t sound right at all, seemed like a scam to me.

Loads of folks have pointed out that the bloke running this scam is Stuart Wright, who’s got a fraud conviction. His address is 133 Anglian Way, Coventry, CV3 1QR. I went round to his place to call him out and he just started shouting at me. Fingers crossed someone puts this tosser in his place!

Got an email that seemed like it was from PayPal support with a number to call. They said they could help me cancel a transaction I never made. Then they tried to connect me to "Google support" to reset my password. Total phishing scam!

I never got a call myself, but I did get an email about a supposed Amazon order for a new laptop worth £355.99. The email told me to ring this number, but I've never ordered or paid for anything like that. I haven’t even bothered calling the number, just thought I’d be careful.
