It's a bit fishy, especially since I settled that loan over six years back. When I reached out to Santander, they reassured me that I didn't owe anything. So, I decided to ring the number provided on their letter, but they were adamant that I would receive the amount mentioned if I provided my bank details for the payment. I’m tempted to disregard this whole situation, as I can't shake the feeling that it’s not on the up and up.
