In the past fortnight, I've had a number of calls from the number 0207 536 5077. I've answered a couple of times, only for the line to go dead straight away. After trying to return the call, I was prompted to ring an 0800 number, 0800 665430, to have my name taken off their Wine Club's calling list. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

The number 020755365377 has been pestering me with calls for the past twelve months. Whenever I attempt to return the call, a message directs me to an 0800 number, where I’m offered a chance to provide my phone number to halt the incessant calls. I have tried this three times now, yet they persist in ringing me-twice just today, in fact! What’s worse is that there’s never anyone on the line when I pick up, which is exceedingly irritating. This whole saga began after I responded to a Facebook ad offering a complimentary copy of Countryfile Magazine and then opted out of the ongoing subscription.

I’m convinced this is nothing but a scam! Got a call from 02075365377, and surprise, surprise, no message was left. So, I thought I'd return the call, only to be greeted by a recorded voice claiming to be from some media service (as if we’re expected to buy that nonsense!). They even suggested that I could have my number taken off their list if I rang 0800665430. Naturally, I gave it a go, but wouldn’t you know it, the voice I encountered was eerily similar to the one from the initial call. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I've received three calls within the last few days from the number 0207 536 5077, but sadly, I've missed each one of them. Given I'm waiting on some repairs, I thought it might be the tradespeople trying to reach me, so I decided to ring them back. To my surprise, I was greeted with a robotic voice stating, "You've missed a call from your wine club. Should you wish to be removed from our list, please dial 0800 66 5430." This raised my suspicions as I’ve never signed up for any wine club. After a bit of digging on the internet, it seems others have reported a similar scam linked to this call. As such, I’ve made my mind up to ignore any future calls from this number. Better safe than sorry!

I received two silent calls within just sixty minutes, and when I looked into it, a recorded voice informed me it was linked to some wine club. Honestly, if they’re peddling their wares, they ought to either engage in a proper conversation or simply refrain from calling altogether!
