I saw this online claiming to be the BT unwanted calls helpline... Had no clue it was a scam till I googled it. The website seemed legit at first, but yeah, it's definitely not.

I dunno who called me, and it’s really annoying because they didn’t leave any info. They’re from near where I live, and since I’m unlisted and work as a prison officer, I feel like I’m being targeted. I really need to find out who that was.

When I said I wasn’t interested in having him check my internet because he claimed it might be hacked, he just told me to get lost.

This number is actually from B.T. and it’s meant for reporting scam calls to them. You won’t ever receive phone calls originating from it.

I got this number from a B.T. operator themselves when I wanted to report some dodgy phone calls. It's a legit B.T. contact if you need to talk about scam callers.
