Oh dear, that 08006121526 number has called me once more, and nothing but a dreadful silence on the other end. Quite bothersome, really!

Earlier today, I received a call from that number, but unfortunately, we missed it. When we called back, we were met with an automated message from npower, inquiring about when we wanted our number removed from their marketing list. What struck me as odd was that we hadn’t even called them from our own number; we used a payphone and a BT Speak phone. Quite perplexing, isn’t it?

This month, we've received a couple of calls on our office number, which we hardly ever share with anyone!

He claimed to be from Empower, but I suspect he’s just another one of those con artists. They seem to switch numbers frequently, so it’s a right pain dealing with them. Whatever you do, don’t hand over your personal information, especially your bank details. Just last week someone rang me, saying he was tasked with handling our taxation and accounting. When he asked about the business owner, I was immediately suspicious. So, I decided to quiz him on the name of the owner he was after-can you believe it, he didn’t even know! I said to him, “How on earth can you manage our accounts when you don’t even know who you’re supposed to be dealing with?” At that point, he abruptly ended the call! Scammers are lurking everywhere; just stay alert and exercise caution!

Got a call today, thought it was about fishing licences but turned out to be someone pushing an energy deal again. Always the same story with these energy contract sales lads.

We received a call from this number, but we didn’t answer it because we were busy towel-drying our dog's paws. We’ve dealt with this number before and can confirm it’s definitely a scam. Often, the callers adopt an unusual tone, inquiring about the homeowner, and at other times, they insist you’re behind on your mortgage payments. This happened to a close friend's family while they were renting, and they hadn’t had a mortgage for two years! It’s quite dodgy, to say the least.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the ‘new business acquisitions’ team at npower. Do I trust them? Nope, not for a second. Feels like they're just after my contract renewal info or possibly my current tariffs. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a right nuisance with this number, they've called me five times during my last two chats on the phone, and then the line just goes dead. It's incredibly frustrating! Massive gratitude to everyone who has flagged this number here. You've all been a great help!

It's Npower, isn't it? I tried ringing back the 0800 number, and their automated system prompts you to press 1 if you wish to stop those pesky telemarketing calls. We went ahead and did that, and it seems to have worked a treat-no more unwanted calls since! At long last, a telemarketing solution that actually listens when you tell them to stop bothering you!

If it's a mobile number, get in touch with your mobile provider and request them to put a block on it. However, if it’s a landline, don’t hesitate to reach out to the authorities and provide them with the necessary information - they’ll take the issue seriously and act on it.

What an absolute bother,

N Power seems to have obtained my number through some energy comparison site. They ring me daily, but when I answer, they never utter a word, and there's never a voicemail left behind. I certainly won’t be sharing my phone number on any of those platforms in the future!

I'm absolutely fed up with receiving five or six calls daily, often lasting until around eight in the evening. It's becoming quite tiresome, to be honest!

When I answered and said 'hello', a man's voice replied with 'right, hang up', as if he was instructing the person who called. They seem far more interested in cold calling than actually serving their current clientele. I’m even mulling over whether to lodge a complaint, especially since I’ve also noticed discrepancies in my billing with them. I’ve been experiencing the same annoyance! These callers keep ringing me, and the moment I answer, they’re asking for a bloke named Mr Cam. When I explain that there’s no one of that name here, she replies quite casually, “Alright, I’ll try again later.” Before I could even interject to mention that there really isn’t any point in ringing back, she swiftly hung up. Who on earth are these people?

Earlier this evening, just after seven o'clock, we received a phone call from someone inquiring about my wife, specifically regarding the person who handles our gas and electricity account. We informed them that she's currently engaged and asked them to call back in a mere ten seconds, but they never did. We’re left puzzled about which supplier this could be. Interestingly, at the very moment of that call, my wife was having a chat with a representative from Npower who had knocked on our door. Could this be some sort of scam, or is it genuinely Npower reaching out?

This is regarding NPOWER. I attempted to call the number after hours and was greeted by their voicemail.

SEEMS THIS NUMBER IS LINKED TO NPOWER OR SOMETHING SIMILAR! THEY NEVER LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY VOICEMAIL! IT’S CLEAR THAT THE FINES THAT ENERGY FIRMS ARE FACING DON’T SEEM SEVERE ENOUGH. I reckon if the directors were held personally accountable for these antics, it might just put an end to this ridiculousness!
