Got a call from someone claiming to be from hmrc, and they were super pushy. Kept saying I had to decide then and there or else they’d issue a warrant in my name and I'd be arrested soon after. Total scam, obviously!

Got a call from some robot claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs warning me I'd be arrested unless I sorted my tax immediately. Sounded dodgy so I just blocked the number straight away!

I got a call on my home phone from someone saying they were from HMRC and threatening me with jail time and demanding payment via vouchers. It felt dodgy, so I quickly ended the call and reported it straight to HMRC. They told me they’re trying to track down these scammers and stop them. If you get a call like that, best just hang up and let HMRC know.

I encountered a robotic chap on the line who abruptly disconnected as soon as I caught the mention of 'her majesty'. Quite the peculiar experience!
