It’s the second time we’ve had a call from this company in the span of just a few weeks, and amusingly enough, it's the same neighbour both times. Each time, it’s regarding a parcel that they supposedly have for them. What baffles me is why on earth they feel the need to notify us about this, and I’m genuinely puzzled about how they obtained our mobile number in the first place. The neighbour is completely clueless about it all. Quite strange, if you ask me!

My folks received the same phone call regarding some mail addressed to me, even though they don't reside with me. So, if the correspondence was meant for me, why on earth didn’t they just forward it? It's beyond me why they feel the need to bother my parents for information on my whereabouts and living situation. It can't be that tricky to track someone down, can it? I'm really puzzled by this whole affair and suspect it might be a scam of some sort. Thankfully, my mum is no fool-she shut them down without a second thought.

I must say, my experience with DVSL was rather pleasant. They were exceedingly courteous during our exchange. All they requested was the phone number they had dialled and then inquired whether I was familiar with a particular individual. It turns out this person had once been associated with the number prior to us acquiring it. I clarified that I wasn’t that individual, and she kindly reassured me that my details would be wiped from their records. Since then, I haven’t received a peep from them. So, if you’ve got nothing to conceal, it might be a good idea to reach out to them.

We received a call today, on the 28th of March, 2011, from someone who appeared to be familiar with our name, but they insisted on confirming our address first. When we inquired about the reason for their request, the caller mentioned they had a letter to send but wouldn't disclose who they represented. After we expressed our hesitance to share personal information with an unsolicited caller, they provided a complimentary phone number and a reference number. This whole situation seems rather dubious. I’m contemplating reporting this to the authorities or maybe even lodging a complaint with the relevant company.

They even provided a reference number for us to use when we ring them back. However, they mispronounced our title and only mentioned an initial. We’ve no intention of squandering money by returning their call.

Received a call on our mobile from that number. The callers professed to be associated with the Telegraph newspaper. They seemed to know our name along with our last two addresses and were fishing for our current one, which I went ahead and gave them. The way they pressed for our address raised quite a few red flags, and we’re rather sceptical about the entire thing. We're not comfortable sharing our information with them, so it’s hard to trust their intentions, to be honest.

I would advise against trusting this bunch. They called us earlier today (8th November 2023) claiming they had a parcel meant for one of our neighbours, using an address we recognised. I received a call on her mobile from a number I didn't recognise. It seems these folks are giving a bit of a run-around, claiming they're linked to a company called Telegraph.
