Such a nuisance! Got some automated message saying the RAC had tried to get hold of me and would ring back, even though I picked up the calls. They’ve called me half a dozen times over the past two days. I’ve lodged a complaint with the commissioners’ office. I’ve never dealt with the RAC and definitely won’t be doing so now. I’m with the AA instead. Thought being with the TPS meant no unwanted calls! I’ve blocked their number but my phone still rings a couple of times before cutting off. Don’t pick it up if you see it on your caller ID!

Ever since I signed up for RAC breakdown cover via my insurance, the phone won't stop ringing. I get calls on average three times daily. Typical... my RAC membership's about to run out but I refused to get caught by their sneaky 'auto-renewal' trick. I never let anything renew automatically, always prefer to have control. Their renewal price is ridiculously high anyway. It’s crazy they charge me 25% more than a new customer! If they really wanted to keep me as a member, why would they do that? Plus, I had already told them not to bother me with marketing calls, which is another big reason I’m not renewing.

Got a silent call from this number, so I decided to ring them back and it turned out to be the RAC. My insurance's renewal is coming up, but their price was way too steep - over 20% dearer than what they offer new customers. I’d already asked them to stop marketing calls, so this was just the last straw for me. Looks like I’m switching over to the AA now.

I’m not familiar with this number, but after going through some other reviews, it seems to be the RAC calling. They’ve phoned my mobile about 8 times over the past few days. I’ve blocked the number now, so my phone no longer rings when they call. Still, every now and then it gets to voicemail, but unsurprisingly, they never leave a message.

Since Monday 15th Sept 2014, ive been getting calls off 08005335043. The times are pretty much like this: Monday at 5.45pm, Tuesday at half past two, Wednesday just after 5pm, and on Friday they rang me 3 times, about 10.25am, 1.12pm, and once more at 4.03pm. Havnt picked up cos i use my phone for work only.
