Reports on phone number 0800500630

In my residential complex, an elderly woman received a letter that seemed to have been personally delivered, as there was no sign of postage on the envelope. It requested anyone who might know her to call an 0800 number for assistance. Another contact number was also included, but unfortunately, the envelope and the letter provided no clues about the sender’s identity. Given that the lady suffers from dementia, I felt it was prudent to investigate further. I dialled the 0800 number, 0800 500630, only to discover it belonged to a credit company. Delving deeper, I found several reports associating that number with scams. This situation is utterly unacceptable and must be addressed urgently.

I received a text claiming to be from a company called 2degrees, stating that my account is overdue by £980. It seems rather dodgy to me-definitely a scam!

I got a rather strange letter addressed to "the occupier" which mentioned that if I had any information regarding a certain number, 8163071395, I should lend a hand. However, when I dialled that number, it was completely unresponsive. Since then, I've been bombarded with calls from that same number, albeit with some extra zeros prefixed to it. It’s becoming quite tiresome, especially as these calls tend to come in during the wee hours of the night. I’ve chosen to ignore them for now!

I recently got a letter without any writing on it, which instructed me to ring a number regarding a previous occupant of my flat. It turns out that this number appears to belong to a debt collection agency.

I got a rather suspicious letter through my letterbox today. It simply requested that I phone this number if I had any clue about the location of a neighbour of mine. Just an ordinary sheet of paper, not a hint of any details. Feels like a real dodgy scam to me!

I've been receiving messages claiming I owe money to 2 Degrees, but I’ve looked into it and it’s not from them. Apparently, it's a scam. Please be wary!

I received a telephone call from this number at 7:19 in the evening. The chap introduced himself as Matt and insisted I return the call immediately. However, he didn’t disclose the name of the company or the purpose of the call. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!
