If this is actually Domestic and General, they really don’t get that most folks with a bit of sense won’t pick up for some random cold call. Almost always, even if the person sounds British, it’s a scam. There’s just so many of those fake extended warranty calls going around. I hung up quick but then wondered if maybe it was genuine. If there’s a real promotion for extending a warranty, they ought to just send an email with all the specifics about the deal and the appliance. Plus, the call centre people should be properly trained or reported if they’re not handling it right.

They rang me again today at 11:50, I also missed a call from them last Tuesday. Neither time have they left a voicemail message. Honestly, if it was something important or legit, they’d have left a voicemail by now. Not really sure who it is.

Got a call from Domestic & General trying to sell me something. They already had my details and told me my washing machine warranty was nearly up. Offered me a monthly plan that sounded fairly reasonable to keep the cover going. They gave me a policy number that checked out when i looked it up on their official site, so seemed legit.
