Got a call from Virgin Media asking if I was planning to move, seemed like a bit of a scam to me.

Yeah, the number defo belongs to Virgin. Looks like Goodlord must've passed my number on to them. They ring me a couple times a week about broadband stuff but I just ignore it. It’s not a scam, just Virgin regularly calling with deals and offers and all that.

Said they were from Virgin Media and started ringing me after Goodlord passed my number on to them. I’m moving in a couple weeks and they won’t stop trying to push their broadband on me. I told them I’m happy with Plusnet but the bloke kept at it. Just be firm and don’t let them twist your arm!

They kept phoning and messaging me nearly daily claiming to be from Virgin Media. I’ve never dealt with them or asked for anything from that firm. One time, they left a voicemail and the lady actually said my name and a street that I don’t live on (it sounded like a place I might be moving to soon but wasn’t exactly right, which was kinda creepy). Felt really dodgy so I’ve blocked the number and reported it. Glad I looked up the number here, it was really irritating. Best not to answer.
