Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, but I told them straight up it wasn’t Sky at all and that it was a scam. Then I just hung up on them. Seems like these scammers are really trying new tricks.

Got a call from this number earlier today. Turns out, I bought a folding table from their related company a few years back, and they're offering me some food vouchers as a thank you! I straight up told the lady not to call me unsolicited ever again and hung up. By the way, I did order a folding table from a catalogue about three years ago, maybe more. I reckon it's linked to the same parent company as the one that was recently on BBC Watchdog.

Somebody called me offering free vouchers for puzzle books for 3 months, but I figured they would charge me after that period. I asked the lady how she had got hold of my number. She said it was because I’d bought something from Easy Life a while back. I admitted it was ages ago and made it clear I wouldn’t be buying anything else from them since they tried to charge my credit card without my permission. She said she was sorry to hear that, but when she tried to check my details, I just said I was done and ended the call.

I got a call about some sort of voucher deal, and when I asked who it was, the woman said it was a sister firm to easy life. I told her I wasnt interested because easy life had charged me for stuff I never signed up to. They did refund me in the end, but Ive heard loads of others have had the same problem. They withdrew around £134 from my bank. Seems like both things are linked somehow.

Got a call claiming I'd ordered puzzles, which I definitely hadn't, so I just blocked the number immediately.

Some bloke said he was from Windows about some issues with my computer. Thing is, I don't have any problems with it at all. His accent was so thick, I could barely catch a word. I asked if I could chat with someone who spoke proper English. Then he just ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a firm checking up on a 'possible' refund for an all-inclusive holiday I'd supposedly booked in the past three years. Total scam, as I haven't been on such a holiday in ages! Plus, the number they rang is on the TPS list. When I mentioned this, they went on and on, claiming you have to renew your TPS status every six months, which is absolutely rubbish.

Got a nasty bump in my car from hitting a pothole and was a bit anxious about it. Took it to Kwik Fit on a Sunday. They looked it over pretty quick, like under an hour, and the best bit is they didn’t charge me a penny because everything was alright :)
