Got a ring from someone called Candice asking to talk to a director about the phone bills. I said he doesn't handle that stuff. She started going on about working with Openreach to swap out old fibre cables for copper ones. When I asked what company she was from, she said Calls Warehouse but insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch. Yeah right, sounded like a scam or sales call to me. Very sketchy and only shared bits of info when I pushed her.

I’ve recently had to put BT Call and Protect on my home phone because of loads of scam calls. Now, annoyingly, they’ve managed to get my mobile number too and keep bothering me. It’s so frustrating! Surely there’s some way to crack down on these scammers and stop them pestering innocent people? They’re nothing but low-life.

This number rang me earlier today, and a guy with a strong foreign accent said he was from BT. I was a bit skeptical and replied with "Oh, right?" Then he went on about some issue with my internet connection. Just as I was about to tell him we don’t actually use BT, he suddenly said something like "I am in," but I couldn't catch it clearly. I asked him to repeat himself, but before he could, he just ended the call.

Someone rang claiming to be from BT with a “new deal”. When I asked for a phone number to call back, she got funny and asked why I needed it. I told her I was busy and would ring later, but I just knew it wasn’t BT. Then she gave me some number and hung up straight away. Definitely a scam pretending to be BT. It’s so frustrating these calls keep coming through, I get loads every single day. Why aren’t they stopped yet?

Had a call from someone saying "Candice" and they knew my name straight away. When I asked what company they were from, she just dropped the line on me! Sounds like a right scammer to me. Honestly, if it were down to me, these lot would be serving a serious jail sentence for a good decade or more.

somebody phoned saying they were from BT trying to help me cut costs on my business phone bills. I told them I doubted they were really from BT and mentioned GDPR rules about unauthorised contact. they turned quite rude after that and just ended the call. i'd stay well clear, defo not BT.

So this number kept ringing with calls from some bloke named Jack, and I stayed calm even though it was quite a lot. But then, out of nowhere, he started swearing at me just because I said I wasn't interested in what he was offering. If anyone's running the show, they really should think about firing him. They first claimed to be from BT and said they were calling because I have a BT line. When I told them I’m not with BT, they quickly switched to saying I’m on a BT wholesale line, which apparently nearly everyone uses except Virgin Media. Then they asked who my provider was. When I pointed out they should already know if it’s BT or not, they suddenly changed their story again, saying they’re actually some other BT wholesale retailer, not the main BT themselves. Quite confusing!
